
Erik Zimmerman
Erik Zimmerman has built a career at the intersection of business, education, and innovation. With a strong foundation in psychology and futurism from his parents, he has spent over 30 years working across corporate and entrepreneurial ventures.
Erik has played a key role in five startups, achieving two successful exits—AGL (2011) and Energy Australia (2019). Currently, he is a founding shareholder and Director of Alcazar, an EdTech startup set to launch in mid-2025, focused on transforming education. He also serves as CEO and Director of Sitetech, a leading construction industry site hire company.
Committed to creating a lasting impact, Erik actively contributes to global challenges, including education and sustainability. His latest project, Wonga Forest, is a long-term reforestation initiative aiming to plant 100,000 trees near Daylesford.
Erik lives in Melbourne, Australia, with his wife of 25 years, Riyane, and their three adult children – Joshua, Ella, and Maya.
