Allan Meyer

Allan Meyer and his wife, Helen, both began their careers as teachers after completing their education. During their time in the classroom, they became key figures in a spiritual revival that swept through their school, leading them to a call to youth ministry in 1978.

In 1983, they were invited to lead Mt Evelyn Christian Fellowship in Melbourne, a Church of Christ congregation. Under their leadership, the church—renamed Careforce Church in 2003—grew from a few hundred members to a thriving community of 2,500. The church also launched an impactful missions ministry in India, resulting in thousands of church plants and hundreds of thousands coming to faith.

In 1992, Allan and Helen founded Careforce Lifekeys, a ministry dedicated to healing broken lives, strengthening discipleship, fostering church health, and advancing evangelism. Lifekeys courses have since been implemented in over 23 countries worldwide.
Allan earned his Doctor of Ministry from Denver Seminary in 2004. His doctoral project led to the development of Valiant Man, a discipleship program designed to restore and strengthen men’s moral and spiritual integrity. Over 100,000 men in Australia alone have participated in the program, and his book From Good Man to Valiant Man further expands on this mission. Valiant Man has been translated into Russian, German, Czech, Indonesian, and Swahili.

In January 2009, Allan transitioned leadership of Careforce Church and later that year stepped away from the church staff to focus fully on Careforce Lifekeys. He now travels extensively across Australia and beyond, preaching the Bible’s great themes of restoration and equipping churches to implement Lifekeys programs effectively. A central aspect of his ministry is speaking to men.
Allan currently serves on the preaching team at Stairway Church and is also part of the eldership and preaching team at Neuma Church in Melbourne.

He and Helen met in high school and married in 1968, celebrating 56 years of marriage in 2024. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.
